SPDE-76A, a low noise scrolling engine

BDX Signs is proud to release an upgrade of the SPDE-76 system. The upgraded version is called SPDE-76 Acoustic, or SPDE-76A.

The original SPDE-76 will be discontinued but the technical support and spare part will not be affected.

Thanks to the noise reduction technology implemented to both the motors and the controller, the new upgrade makes this popular scrolling engine suitable for indoor use as well as outdoor use.

SPDE-76A will be shown in the upcoming Shanghai International APPP Expo

The noise level of SPDE-76A is only 53dB[1] while scrolling, approximately equivalent to that of a small air conditioner.

[1] Tested one (1) metre from a typical 1.2m x 1.8m single-sided sign with #160 aluminium casing. Noise level of bare system is approximately 62dB.
